The Genius who wrote this deserves praise. Its so tense, the delusions seem so real until he wakes up and they bleed into reality so smoothly that even the reader starts to get paranoid along with the MC. Its especially bad because; some of his reasons to be suspicious towards the end are perfectly reasonable. Why is his wife being so "touchy feely" with someone? Even if it is her best friend thats not okay and certainly suspicious. Or worse, how she sits next to the "friend" instead of him.

"is there something im not seeing here"

This character feels super relatable and you can really connect to his struggle. Its a unique plot that delves into the insecurities of a man quite well, while skidding on the outskirts of a typical ntr plot. "is this reality or just another delusion" In only 59 pages I care about this dude more than almost every character I have ever encountered whether that be Anime, manga or Doujin. This review probabl doesn't do it justice but, I look forward to part2

True, it must be quite stressful. The thing that worries me though. He had an erection during the fantasy and by the way he imagines it, it almost seems like he likes the idea. Towards the end he does say he is "glad it was a dream" and his frequent expressions show more horror than arousal at the prospect so it could have just been a males natural reaction but I still feel that it needs to be confirmed. I want a bit more expansion of his character.

You could only go crazy at this idea if you didn't want it.
Edit: Interestingly enough though I found a comment on another website under this very same doujin that said "The struggle for NTR fetishists is real. It's always way hotter in fantasy than reality" Makes me really curious how he would react if she really was/is cheating. There is so many valid questions here being asked such as: why did she hang up so suddenly after asking how long he would be? why is she so close to the "friend"? why sit next to him and not her husband? "you were really intense today" is the sexy normally boring? was she really just taking a bath? was the dude only pretending to grab a spoon when something really was happening under the counter? Did he come back too late? Are they really all just delusions? (with all these questions no wonder a person would lose their sanity, especially if deep down its not something they want at all)

The fact that a Hentai story leaves me so invested is truly astounding. (CAN'T WAIT FOR PART 2!!!)

I have not read it myself so I cant confirm whether thats true or not (I was trying my best to have the patience to wait until it gets translated however long that may take) but, I wouldn't be too surprised if it was. There were plenty of foreshadowing leading up to it. I cant go into detail just too complicated to explain but, I feel like the author was building up the suspense for that very reveal.
