Seems more like, the father is still the assassin so he can have the insurance money.
What the kid refers to as "deleting" the "family he doesnt need or remember" is that apparently the father had a database of all his partners and extra family members, and that once he is done he shut ups the kid in various ways including making him an accomplice by deleting the necessary info from the computer.
Then again with the new discovery of sex and what it can produce, the boy comes to the conclusion he can make a family of his own, so he can HAVE a family in the end, which will not dissapear or abandond him.

Nope, it was the kid who was doing the killing. He wouldn't need to "delete" his older sister as she is still alive if he was talking about computer deletion. By "delete", he means kill. The only question is, why was he killing them? He doesn't seem to have an obsession with his father, so I don't understand why he killed his stepmothers.
