Everyone always calls husbands like this stupid but, when you completely trust someone, I doubt the idea of infidelity would even occur to you... At least, not at first.

Besides hindsight is 20/20 let's not forget that we are the audience and have the benefit of omniscient view.

I mean sure, the signs are there. The flat picture frame, the fact that she seems strangely happy and no longer complains about his dedication to work at the expense of time with her.

But unless you're incredibly observant or paranoid (or a hentai enthusiast). You either would A) Think nothing of it B) Not notice at all.

Even if you were slightly suspicious or concerned there is little evidence as it stands so it would probably be easy to brush off.
