Perhaps, but I believe this might possibly be a sequel to a different work miyashiro has done, on page 19 they talk about meeting in the next life where she's a slob and needs him to help. The time period for this one seems to be more on the older side, so perhaps it's just a somber prequel to Hikikomori Working
