Eh, pretty decent. It's a bit odd ain't it? The more you expect a twist the less enticing it gets when it finally hits. Maybe the author should mix up his writing more to balance out the oddness. Like Satoshi Kon. His last book was actually pretty much that I feel. A simple teacher x student with some subtle cucking on the side. Even vanilla(the ice cream) can be pretty good every once in a while. I mean it's a classic for a reason, right?
